Q. What kind of warranty does my repair come with?
A. All of our repairs come with a 60-day warranty on all parts including any defects that may arise in the parts. We currently do not offer a labor warranty. Physical damage is not covered by Cell Mechanic, Inc.

Q. What hours are you open?
A. We work all the time, call for an appointment, or email.

Q. How long does it take to fix my phone for mail-in service?

A.  We will ship your device back to you within 24 hours, provided that the parts are in stock.

Q. Does your work void the warranty on my device?
A. Your warranty is already voided once damage occurs.

Q. What happens if my device is left with Cell Mechanic, Inc. for a long period of time?
A. Cell Mechanic Inc. will hold onto your device for 90 days, after that Cell Mechanic Inc. will recycle your electronic device.

Q. Can you fix water damaged gadgets?
A. Cell Mechanic Inc. has an 85% success rate in reviving gadgets damaged by liquid in any way.

Q. Will my data be lost during your repair?
A. Cell Mechanic Inc. does not typically do anything that will lose your data during repair. There are times where the damage to your phone erases your data, we recommend you always back-up your data before repair if possible.

Q. Can you backup my data on my phone?
A. Cell Mechanic Inc. offers a complete service for efficient data backup, just ask for it!

Q. How do I pay for the repair?
A. Because every repair is different, we cannot take payment until the repair is completed. When we receive your phone, a representative will contact you with a quote and will ask for payment preauthorization and possibly a deposit depending on the scope of the work.

Q. Does the estimated price include labor? 
A. All prices include parts and labor.

Q. Does the estimated repair cost include labor? 
A. Yes, our estimates include labor and return shipping is free with all completed repairs.

Q. How much will shipping be? 
A. You can choose any shipping method you prefer to use in order to ship your cellular phone to us. We recommend that you use a trackable and insurable shipping method such as UPS or FEDEX. Once your cell phone repair is complete, we offer free return shipping via USPS Priority Mail. If you would like a faster method, or would like the package shipped back on your shipping account, please contact us to make arrangements for this.

Q. What if I choose not to have my phone repaired?
A. If a repair is declined, a $15.00 service and shipping fee applies for all declined repairs. This fee can be waived if the customer agrees to donate their non-repairable phone to Cell Mechanic opening the door to environmentally-friendly recycling.

Q. What if I already have the part that is needed to fix my phone?
A. We can install your part for an installation fee, but we cannot warranty that type of work.

Q. What should I do if my phone has liquid damage?
A. Take the battery out immediately if possible or turn the device off and send it to us as quick as possible! We will take care of you from there!
